Madden Asante Commits to Texas A&M
We are incredibly proud to announce that alumni Madden Asante has signed with the Texas A&M Women’s Soccer program, a huge milestone in her journey and a moment everyone at the club is excited to celebrate.
Madden, a 2009-born female player, stood out early in her development. While at New Frontier, she competed on a 2008 boys squad, an environment we intentionally chose to challenge and elevate her game. Such was her talent, drive, and competitive edge that we knew she would thrive at a higher level, and she did exactly that.
During her time with New Frontier, Madden’s impact extended far beyond club play. She captained the Canada U15 Women’s National Team to a bronze medal finish at the CONCACAF U15 Championship in Costa Rica, demonstrating not only her elite ability but also her leadership on an international stage.
Madden is a tremendously talented player, but what truly sets her apart is her character. She is driven, disciplined, and resilient. Her journey has not been without challenges, she has overcome an ACL tear, but her response to adversity has only reinforced the strength of her mindset and commitment to her goals.
While playing with New Frontier, Madden was also selected to join the Vancouver Whitecaps/Rise Academy, where she has continued to train and compete in a high-performance environment. This opportunity further accelerated her development and prepared her for the next level of the game.
Equally important is the incredible support system behind her. Madden’s family has played a vital role in her journey, providing unwavering encouragement and guidance every step of the way.
Beyond her achievements on the field, Madden has also given back to our club. She has spent time coaching within the New Frontier program, inspiring younger players, especially on the female side. Her presence, leadership, and willingness to mentor others make her not only a top player, but a top person.
Madden Asante represents everything New Frontier Soccer Club stands for. We are excited to follow her continued journey at Texas A&M and beyond.
Congratulations, Madden. Aggieland just got a whole new fanbase!
