Ben Zimola Signs with UBC

We are proud to announce that longtime club player Ben Zimola has signed to continue his soccer career with the UBC Thunderbirds. Ben, a member of the New Frontier 2008 group, has been with the club since its inception and represents the work ethic that define our program.

A talented left back, Ben has consistently stood out for his intelligence, composure on the ball, and ability to contribute to the attack from wide areas. Over the years, he has developed into one of the top players in his age group, earning opportunities to represent Team Alberta, where he competed against some of the best young players in the country.

More recently, Ben has been sharpening his game in the Cavalry FC Youth Academy, continuing to push his development in a high-performance environment. His commitment to improving every day has helped prepare him for the next step in his soccer journey.

Ben’s signing with the UBC Thunderbirds is a proud moment not only for him and his family, but also for the entire New Frontier community. Players like Ben show what is possible through hard work, perseverance, and a love for the game.
