New Frontier Soccer Club is one of Alberta's fastest-growing clubs, committed to creating an outstanding environment where players, coaches and families can thrive.

As we continue to expand our Player Development Program (PDP), we are seeking an ambitious and passionate Player Development Program (PDP) Lead to oversee our U14-U17 pathway competing in the Alberta Player Development League (APDL).

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to shape the future of our player development environment, mentor coaches, influence the club curriculum and help develop the next generation of players.

About the Role

Reporting to the Technical Director, the PDP Lead will provide leadership across the club's U14-U17 Player Development Program.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the planning, delivery and continual development of the PDP.

  • Recruit, mentor and support PDP and Pre-PDP coaches.

  • Serve as Head Coach of one PDP team.

  • Oversee player assessments, talent identification and player progression.

  • Design and deliver the club's PDP curriculum, classroom learning and video analysis programme.

  • Work closely with Sports Science staff to support athlete development and load management.

  • Work closely with coaches and players in the club's Pre-PDP Program, supporting player progression and creating a seamless pathway into the Player Development Program.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Canada Soccer A Diploma (or equivalent) desired. Strong candidates holding a Canada Soccer B Diploma will also be considered

  • Experience coaching high-performance youth players.

  • Experience leading or mentoring coaches.

  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience using video analysis and collaborating with sports science staff.
