Peak Performance Program
The Peak Performance Program is entering an exciting new phase.
Aligned with the training principles and development frameworks used by top academies, Peak Performance is designed to help players improve their individual game in ways that transfer directly to match performance.
The program builds on a strong foundation and takes a clear step forward with:
A refreshed curriculum
Clearer development pathways
A stronger program identity
Consistent delivery by senior Academy staff
Program Leadership
We’re excited to introduce Coach Manny Petros as the new Peak Performance Program Lead.
Manny has been part of New Frontier since the club’s inception and represents the development pathway we value as a club. He progressed from New Frontier player, to senior Academy coach, and is now an integral member of our leadership team.
Manny played at the University of Calgary with the Calgary Dinos and is widely respected for both his playing ability and his coaching approach. Known for his strong technical foundation and deep understanding of the game, Manny has a unique ability to break down advanced techniques into clear, teachable moments that players can apply immediately.
Under Manny’s leadership, Peak Performance continues to focus on detail, clarity, and intentional player development.
Our Development Framework
To ensure training is intentional and progressive, Peak Performance follows a clear development framework that reflects how top clubs and elite players build technical quality, confidence, and effectiveness on the ball over time.
Grouped by Ability
Players are placed into groups based on ability to create the best possible training matchups. We may adjust groupings during the program to make sure players are in the right environment to keep developing.
Experienced Coaching Staff
Peak Performance sessions are led by a group of senior academy staff and age-phase leads. Our coaches bring experience from high levels of play and coaching and are passionate about helping players develop.
Each session is delivered with a supportive and purposeful approach, ensuring players are appropriately challenged while feeling encouraged and confident as they learn.
Looking Ahead
In addition to the outdoor Peak Performance program, we’re excited to share that position-specific training opportunities for U14+ players are currently in development. More details and announcements will be coming soon.
