The depth of our guidance and connections is what sets us apart.

Take a look at some recent success stories here.

Professional Soccer Scouts Association (PSSA) Partnership
Fueling our mission to elevate player development, our collaboration with the PSSA opens new doors to collegiate success. Through this strategic partnership, we’ve enhanced our ability to prepare players for collegiate recruitment—offering access to elite showcase events, professionallevel scouting reports and tailored highlight reel development. Designed to facilitate recruitment across NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA programs, this pathway ensures our players are seen, supported and connected. Working alongside Winston White, U.S. Director of the PFSA, players are evaluated through a professional lens and matched with programs that align with their strengths, goals and style of play.

University Soccer

Since our launch in May 2021, we’ve proudly supported a rising number of players advancing to university soccer and beyond. Brendan O’Connell, Director of Football and Kevin Francis, Performance Phase Lead - former University of Calgary Men’s team coaches - bring nine years of post-secondary experience and trusted relationships that help guide players to success. Their support spans every stage of the collegiate journey, from identifying the right college fit and understanding academic and eligibility requirements to navigating the recruitment process and exploring scholarship and financial aid opportunities.

Vancouver Whitecaps

The Whitecaps Alberta BMO Academy Centre offers a high-performance pathway for local players aspiring to reach the professional level, earn scholarships or represent Canada on the international stage. Selected athletes follow a customized training and competition schedule that connects directly to the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy system. We’re proud to have supported numerous New Frontier players through the Calgary-based Whitecaps programs - with several of them earning advancement to the National Development Centre in Vancouver.

Cavalry FC ID Program

The Cavalry FC ID Program identifies top U15 – U18 talent and provides a structured route into the Cavalry FC player pathway. Selected players train within the professional environment, building toward the goal of first-team integration. We’re proud to announce that three of our 2008-born players are currently participating in this elite development program. Find out more here.

Youth National Teams

Canada’s youth national teams offer the highest level of competition and exposure for players of exceptional ability. We’re proud to see New Frontier athletes rise to meet that challenge. Most notably, Madden Asante captained the Canada U-15 National Team to a bronze medal at the 2024 CONCACAF Championships - a testament to the caliber of talent within our program.

Professional Soccer

Soccer can be more than a passion - it can be a profession. Dominick Zator and Sydney Wathuta are powerful examples of where hard work, talent and the right support can lead. Calgary-born Zator spent five formative years playing under our Director of Football, Brendan O’Connell, at the University of Calgary before graduating from the Haskayne School of Business and signing with Cavalry FC in the CPL. His journey culminated in representing Canada on the international stage. Similarly, Sydney Wathuta’s relentless dedication and growth as a player earned him the honour of being selected 16th overall by the Colorado Rapids in the MLS SuperDraft. Their stories reflect what’s possible for New Frontier players who fully commit to their goals and embrace the journey. Every player’s ambition deserves a pathway - and we’re here to help them take the next step with confidence, purpose and a clear vision for their future. This is just the beginning and we’re excited for what lies ahead as more of our players rise to national and international stages.
