Another Successful 1v1 Formula Event

Our latest 1v1 Formula event was another big success! Built around non-stop, goal-driven 1v1 play, the event delivered rep after rep of attacking and defending moments designed to build habits, sharpen instincts, and accelerate individual development.

Personalized Player Footage

All stations were filmed in 4K, and within two weeks, every player will receive personalized clips of their 1v1 attacking and defending moments. These videos are a powerful tool to reflect, learn, and track progress over time.

For the first time, winners in each age group will receive a professional video breakdown led by Steve Guppy, former international player and coach, and the driving force behind the 1v1 Formula. These breakdowns will highlight key moments, habits, and areas for improvement, turning each clip into a clear learning experience.

Additional individual breakdowns are also available for players who want deeper feedback and guided development of their 1v1 skill set.

1v1 National Finals

This summer, the 1v1 National Finals will take place in partnership with Carolina Core FC.

The event will bring together top 1v1 players from across the U.S., Alaska, and the U.K., competing alongside Carolina Core Academy and GA players (with males and females competing separately). It’s a rare opportunity for players to test their 1v1 skill set against MLS academy-level opposition and elite peers from other regions.

The finals will be played on a professional stadium pitch ahead of an MLS NEXT fixture, with winners receiving their awards on the field at halftime. The weekend will also include a lead-in training session and additional experiences around the finals.
