Manny Petros has been part of New Frontier Soccer Club since its inception and represents the development pathway the club values most. Selected to play for New Frontier as a player, Manny progressed through the program before transitioning into coaching, where he has grown into a senior Academy coach and a member of the club’s leadership team.

Manny played collegiate soccer at the Calgary Dinos, where he developed a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of performance-based training environments. He is widely respected for his ability to break down advanced technical concepts into clear, practical learning moments that players can apply with confidence.

In addition to his work at New Frontier, Manny has also contributed as a coach within the Calgary-based Vancouver Whitecaps development program, further strengthening his experience within structured, performance-focused training environments.

Technical development is Manny’s passion, and he takes particular pride in seeing players recognize new details and successfully transfer them from training into match situations. “I love watching players have that moment where something clicks in training and then shows up in a game. That’s when you know the work is meaningful.”

Outside of the club environment, Manny is a lifelong soccer fan who closely follows the professional game and is a devoted supporter of Manchester City.
