Maddi Wells
Technical Coach
Madison joins us from Foothills Soccer Club and brings over 20+ years of playing and 10 years of coaching experience. Her soccer career began in British Columbia playing on various competitive teams, including a travel team that took her across North America and Europe.
After graduation, she attended Thompson Rivers University where she played three seasons, winning 3 Provincial Championships and a National Bronze Medal. During University, Madison started to get more involved with coaching through spring break and summer camp programs.
Her love for coaching continued to grow after leaving university. Madison started coaching U4-U10 Community Soccer before joining the Academy Staff at South Delta United in 2017.
Madison moved from BC to Alberta in 2019 where she continued to share her love for the game. Most recently, Madison served as a Team Coach for Calgary Foothills Soccer Club.
Madison’s coaching philosophy is that sports are a tool we use to teach kids the skills they need for life. She looks forward to bringing that philosophy with her as she joins New Frontier.
